Join my
ARC team!
Hey! I’m Melissa, an angsty romance author.
My fourth novel is coming soon, so I’m looking for some peeps who want to join my ARC (Advance Reader Copy) team!
What do ARC team members do?
These specially selected readers will receive a free copy of my book before the release date to read and review before it’s published.
This is different from a Street Team. If you would like to apply for that, the application is here.

About the Book
In a world like ours—where some people have powers—lives a dancer who can see everyone’s worst memory and a wolf Shifter who wants to forget his.
Tropes: forced proximity, he falls first, morally questionable, "good girl", "f*ck it", revenge, banter, and more!

Teaser
Memory Catcher is a riveting standalone novel in the Zordi world, loaded with humor, sensual spice, and a heartwarming ending with all the feels. This dual-POV contemporary fantasy romance is for readers 18+ who enjoy love stories with playful banter and a splash of danger.
For the full blurb, see slideshow above!
Who can apply?
You must be all of these!
Readers 18+ who don't know me IRL
My content is for eyeballs that have been growing for at least 18 years.
If you know me personally, sorry, you cannot apply. The Amazon rules ain't chill with reviews from personal friends.
Lovers of
contemporary & fantasy romance
My books are mostly contemporary with a splash of fantasy. It's just our world, but some people are born with powers. (And the ones who aren't don't know!)
Expect pronounceable words and not a single person with wings (I wish I was creative enough to write stuff like that though, haha).
Book reviewers...
who post their reviews to sites like Amazon, Goodreads, Instagram, etc.
Other bookish sites are encouraged too!
Peeps who are happy to read books with triggers
Did you see that list above? Don't say I didn't warn ya.
What are the perks?
You'll be the first to read my book(s)!
And you'll be highly considered to join my ARC team again in the future.
Social media graphics and ARC Team Chat!
You'll receive pre-made posts, plus other assets you can use to make your own graphics (sent to you via Google Drive).
You'll also be added to our slightly chaotic ARC Team group chat on Instagram. (Staying or being active in the chat is not required.)
ARC Team Exclusive Giftaways
Who doesn't like a higher chance at winning free sh*t?

Reviewing Guidelines (and some fun legal stuff too!)
Where to review
All of these are appreciated. None are required.
- Amazon
- Goodreads
- Threads
- Facebook/bookish FB groups
- Barnes and Noble
- Fable
- StoryGraph
- wherever readers hang out
Words to avoid
It is recommended that you leave out any wording like:
- free
- ARC/Advance Reader Copy
- In return/exchange for
- honest review
- BookFunnel
Why? Some sites flag these words.
What you MUST disclose (legally!)
The FTC requires that anyone who reviews a product they received for free MUST disclose so clearly. So how do you do this without alarming the bots?
Use wording like:
"Thank you to the author for gifting me this book. I am voluntarily leaving a review."
"I was given a copy of this book from the author. All opinions are my own."
(Notice how these examples still follow FTC guidelines while staying away from the no-no words.)
Other fun legal stuff
1. Your discloser must be at the top and before any links.
2. Your discloser must be included everywhere you post a review.
3. If making a review in video format, you must include a discloser in the video AND in the caption.
4. No profanity (womp womp), hate speech, offensive language, etc.
